Thinking about all the super stuff in my weekend made me want to sing the song…
Cauliflower – cabbage - cauliflower curry over millet – This is such a simple recipe and it makes so much. I love it!!In the Superfood spirit, a snack of goji berries, cacao nibs and almonds Shopping and prepping for 5 Days with Superfoods
Broccoli soup and garden salad at Butler’s Pantry in my favourite window booth for Sunday brunch. I discovered that their soups are always vegan – score!! Incredible Hulk bread!!! I used Ener-G egg replacer in place of the two eggs which worked great. The spirulina (a blue-green algae that is a complete protein and contains lots of vitamins, minerals and superfoody goodness!) made it smell like the ocean, but it tasted great once cooked. Even the roommates liked it – success!! Delicious kichade made with mung beans, brown rice, zucchini, carrot and kale paired with a slice of my Hulk-tastic bread. I’m loving my Superfoods thus far and looking forward to a delicious week ahead!

I sprinkled me "milk shake" with cacao nibs last night! My milk shake was carob powder, chia seeds, a frozen banana, almond milk, and a little nut butter and ice. Perfect dessert!
I wanted to make the hulk bread, but I was too intimidated. Also, I can't seem to find spirulina in Toronto...but I know its out there somewhere so I'm going to keep looking. Where did you find it?
Magic Oven is okay but I find it to be really expensive for what it is..
I'm really loving adding goji berries and coconut to salads, oatmeal, smoothies etc to get in my superfoods. Hope your 5 days healing are great!
I just smiled and hoped for the best for the bread, but I actually really like it a lot! I found spirulina in Kensington, but I'm sure Noah's or the Big Carrot would have it too!
I'm giving up on Magic Oven... Too many other good places for less $$ and better service
